Do You Have THE FAITH for IT?

And [Jesus] did not do many miracles there [in Nazareth] because of their lack of faith.

Matthew Dawson, a field hockey player from Australia, had part of a finger amputated. Brazilian gymnast, Rebeca Andrade, walked for two hours each way to practice in a gym.

Dawson and Andrade are athletes who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Each one had a hope. This hope led them both to make tremendous sacrifices. With no guarantees, Dawson and Andrade operated in the expectation that they would win Gold at the 2024 Olympics. How are you operating?

Are you operating in the expectation that God will give you the thing that you are hoping for? In other words, are you operating in faith? Believe it or not, this is a critical question for the one who professes Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior. Why? Because the GOD of the believer acts in the believer’s faith – in other words – your faith, our faith activates the power of GOD in our lives.

How much faith is required? A pinch? A thimble? A cup? A gallon? Genuineness is the requirement for faith. Is your faith real?

GOD and FAITH (part I)

It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. God is not obligated to respond to a lack of faith. People without faith do not hope for anything. They exist. Nothing to look forward to, humdrum life. No power from God!

He Should Have Killed Him

One of the most talked about stories from the Bible is David and Goliath. It is exciting to hear. A young boy going up against a giant – someone who threatened the bravest of soldiers. The story captures the hearts and minds of both young and old, believers and unbelievers alike.

However great this story is, without David’s faith and God’s power, it would not have happened. Yes, David shot a rock through his sling and hit Goliath in the head, knocking him down. Then he took the giant’s sword and cut off his head. https://www.gotquestions.org/David-and-Goliath.html

But, while speaking of David’s courage, we must not overlook the power of the Omnipotent God behind this young shepherd boy. David’s faith caused God to act. Do YOU Have THE FAITH that WILL CAUSE GOD TO ACT?

GOD and FAITH (part II)

Your faith in God should lead you to a hope that flows into an expectation of God that causes you to act. What action are we talking about? Preparation! Getting ready for God to answer your prayer(s). Living life with genuine faith sends God this message – I am not just hoping that you will answer my prayer(s), but I expect you to answer my prayer(s) and I am preparing so that I am ready when you answer.

GO for IT! MOVE God to act with power in your circumstance/situation.
