Have you ever just scrolled through social media? Just looking, not really paying attention, then all of a sudden . . . You can hardly believe what you are seeing! Hell Is the WRONG PLACE to Find Out You Made a Mistake!

The Truth of the Matter

Let’s go to the Bible. Listen to the conversation between the angel of the Lord and Joseph. Joseph was engaged to the virgin Mary. The angel tells Joseph, Do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.*

Fast forwarding to Acts 4, we find two disciples reminding the Jewish leaders that they had rejected Jesus; but that did not change the TRUTH. There is salvation in no one else [except Jesus Christ]! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.** 

Social Media

So, what did God Has Spoken Ministry (GHSM) stumble upon? A YOUTUBE video with a famous comedian. This comedian is an author and talk show host. He is a major influencer who claims to be a Christian. Yet, he believes that there is more than one way to heaven.  Comparing the way to heaven to watching television, this comedian states that just like we have options for our entertainment, he believes that there are options on ways to get to heaven. Again, Hell Is the WRONG PLACE to Find Out You Made a Mistake.

Ok, so maybe you are not a fan of this comedian. There are many more like him. For example – O.W.  Just think for a moment – Hmmm, what famous person has the initials, O.W.?

Beliefs Matter

There are many influencers who profess to be Christians but are delivering messages that defy Christianity. And let’s face it – Sometimes it is hard in today’s world to hold on to one’s belief. We are continuously exposed to social media. Then we also have friends and family members who have different beliefs. Yet as Christians, we must hold on to our essential belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.

Spiritual beliefs are found in spiritual faith books. The Quran is the faith book for Muslims. Buddhists use the Tripitaka. For the Christian, our only written source is the Bible. The author of the Bible is God. The Holy Ghost inspired or moved humans to write the Bible; so therefore, the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible stands alone. And God cautions us not to add anything to or take anything away from His Word.

Tell the Truth

Christians are not to judge others. Only God has the right to judge. But God has given us an assignment. That assignment is to Tell the Truth.

And now this is the hard part for the believer – Stop agreeing with your friends and/or family members when they are behaving in ways that do not please God or glorify God. And stop agreeing with their opinions that are not Biblical.

One other thing – Do not sit idly or silently by while those who do not know Jesus are being misled. And please do not fall for the argument that some will not have an opportunity to hear about Jesus. This is an erroneous argument of another talk show host, another influencer with millions of followers. God promises in His Word that all will have an opportunity to hear the message of salvation.*** JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR PART!

Christians believe that there is only one way to salvation → JESUS CHRIST

Do NOT allow today’s talk show hosts, comedians, athletes, actors, politicians or anyone else to influence you. They all spout opinions. And that is what they are – opinions. Do not get caught up with the hype.

And finally, please do not buy into the argument that this is about going to church or practicing a certain religion. No, this is about heaven or hell. The choice is yours and it is only yours to make. Remember only you will be the one who must answer for your choices. And only you can decide whether to accept Jesus Christ or not to accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Please don’t get caught dead wrong and burn in hell for eternity.
